Campfire Studios is bringing 2 major projects to the AFCM. 1. TRAPPED is an urban supernatural thriller with elements of African folklore and Afro-Brazilian mysticism, set between Salvador, Bahia, and Osun, Enugu, Lagos Nigeria. The film explores themes of displacement, memory, and ancestral spirituality, blending elevated genre with social relevance. We are currently in development, and our goal is to structure the project as a Brazil–Africa–Nigeria co-production. LOGLINE: From the vibrant shores of Bahia, Lara journeys to Nigeria to reunite with old friends on a weekend escape to a remote waterfall cave. But what begins as adventure soon turns into dread, as they find themselves trapped within a mystical terrain that unearths their secrets and shatters their loyalties. 2. NJEM is a thriller about When life’s endless struggle drives a young hustler to chase migration as his only escape, an unexpected twist ties his dream of freedom to a painful choice that could cost him someone he loves.
